AIDS deaths continue to fall in Dominica
Roseau, Dominica (TDN) -- Health officials in Dominica have reported a significant drop in HIV-related deaths in 2011 with only five persons having died from the virus. The officials note that these deaths occurred because the persons were not accessing the available treatment, care and support services. For the period 1987-2011, there were 143 certified HIV-related deaths.
